Dover Groovers and
Moving Memory
We’re nearly half way through this year’s calendar, can you believe it!
After the huge variety of performances so far we were definitely feeling ready for a party and a boogie… Well the space just outside Market Square is a perfect dance floor, which is exactly what the folks at Dover Groovers and Moving Memory used it for.
After their brilliant afternoon workshop today, the fab Dover Groovers had put together a fun and joyful movement based performance to the soundtrack of ‘We Are Family’!
It was so great watching the culmination of what they’d already prepared and what they’d prepared today at the community workshop (Every year we put on community based workshops that culminate in an Advent door and if you’d like to get involved just keep an eye on our social media)
Their costumes and huge hats were so great I wish I knew where they’d got them so I could grab one too!
At the end of the piece we all came together for a little dance – Which is beginning to become customary at the Living Advent Calendar so bring your dancing shoes next time.
