The Young Strings
Here we go everyone, it’s the halfway point of the Folkestone Living Advent Calendar 2023! It goes so quickly but don’t worry we’ve still got 12 amazing doors for you to see.
Speaking of amazing doors, tonight we took you back to the fantastic building The Grand except we were invited into a different performance space, The Green Room. What a gorgeous place to be and complete with the beautiful vintage stage, we were in awe.
When we knocked on the door we were greeted by the fabulous and talented performers of the Young Strings. Led by Floriane Peycelon and affiliated with the Sacconi Quartet, these amazing musicians filled the space with festive tunes, some classical pieces and even a few famous film soundtracks!
What a magical night and according to our calculations the Young Strings received one of our biggest applauses ever! A huge well done to all involved.
