Oh wow, we had a Muppets Advent Spooky Mash up this evening!
On the Harbour Arm we were all invited to watch ‘A Christmas Carol’ completely turned on its’ head. With puppets, muppets, wigs, hats… I could go on! It was a fast paced and hilarious musical that had everyone on their feet cheering by the end.
From the moment that Gonzo began we were all enthralled by the story he had to tell and the twists and turns were exceptional! (Especially the little foray into Wuthering Heights at the beginning, a Folkestone Fav). We couldn’t get enough of Christmas ‘Has Been’, Christmas ‘Presents’ and Christmas ‘Yeti to come’ – you’ve truly seen it all when you’ve seen a 3 headed yeti dance to The Monster Mash.
From Miss ‘Figgys’ to Swedish Chefs, this was an absolutely fantastic show – and our biggest production at the advent calendar ever!
Over 400 of you braved the cold this evening so Thank You so much for joining us.
This evening we collected for the Rainbow Centre & were based at The Harbour Arm
A special thanks this evening goes to The Harbour Arm, Shepway Voices, MCDC, Head Way, Shepway Primary Singers, Shepway Youth Voices, MASC Charity Volunteers, all the knitters and crocheters, the staff, children and parents of St Peters Primary and of course the fantastic Tania of Fat Lady Opera who created and directed this fantastic show!
