This evening we headed back to the Nepalese Centre in Cheriton. We were blown away when the colourful dancers first came outside and began rhythmically drumming and dancing.
We were then invited inside to watch several more routines, all mesmerising and steeped in history. It feels so wonderful to be invited into venues where we’re able to share each others cultures and traditions and not only that but to share food!
The wonderful members of the Nepalese Centre had laid on a gorgeous spread and after the dancing we were all able to share a plate together.
This evening we were based at the Nepalese Centre and were collecting for Sunflower House.
A special thanks goes to the Nepalese community, their performers, their community chefs and MaHa for organising.
