We gave our audience a treat tonight and let them wait for the countdown in the warm! We also asked them to write down a favourite saying or quote. What was it for? They soon found out when they were welcomed into the Glassworks for an hilarious half hour of fun with the Improv Gym team. Sarah Davies and Jason Delplanque were joined by guest Lucy Trodd and together they kept the audience in stitches with their quick-fire games and improvisations.

If you fancy having a go at improv, Sarah and Jason run regular drop-in classes for people aged 18+ at the Quarterhouse on Tuesdays from 7pm-9pm. No booking required, just turn up and give it a go.

These classes are for everyone and suitable for all levels of experience. The classes focus on core improv skills such as listening, saying yes!, storytelling, ensemble building, characters and spontaneity. But mainly having fun!

Tonight we collected for Demelza House. You can find out more about the great work this charity does for children with terminal illness at demelza.org.uk

We’d like to thank the Creative Folkestone and Folkestone Quarterhouse for hosting tonight’s show and giving us so much support throughout the Living Advent Calendar.
