Improv at The Book Shop!
This evenings door was at the new Folkestone Book Shop, located on Tontine Street. As we all waited eagerly for what was behind the door, a few clues as to what it may be started to become apparent among the crowd. Volunteer Ann was on hand with pieces of paper and pens and pencils to encourage the audience to write ‘a sentence you’d hear at Christmas’ on the paper, ready to hand to the performers as the door opened… Can you guess what it is yet? It was Improv Gym!
The sentences helped inform the way the performance went along with many more prompts from the audience throughout the evening! Such a creative approach to theatre!
