Door number 2 took us to another new location, Yoke on Guildhall Street.
As the door opened, we were treated to a dance/movement/riot piece by the women of Kick Up a Fuss Collective. With provocative signs and beautifully choreographed dance we were all captivated.
During the dance we noticed that a band began to form to the left of the stage and when Kick Up a Fuss Collective left, they began to play some heavy, punk tracks!
Which, all of a sudden became the perfect sound track to an impromptu eco-friendly fashion show. The band were playing songs that they had written and created especially for this evening and the models were wearing clothes that were all recycled and eco friendly, whilst also brandishing signs with important messages about fast fashion.
Watching Unglam and A:Dress perform together was truly rock’n’roll magic, with an incredibly important message that’s good to remember at this time of year.
This evening we were collecting for The Church Street Project, a charity that helps children get the creative therapy they need.
